<p>I watched this little girl giving her hand to a giant; A silhouette that appeared in the dark. A thick rich body coming from where the earth and skies meet. The giant bent over to the small, shivering body crouching and crying in the thickness of the air, alone. The world was that and only that for her frail body, until this appearance. </p><p>She looked up and felt engulfed by a pure wave of care. Time stopped and brought her tears to a halt. Frozen, she started melting in the warmth of the earth and spacious skies. Her limbs collapsed and just before she gave in to this being’s embrace that carried her before touching her body, she heard: </p><p>“Give me your hand and I will show you the way”. </p><p>Laying back on my rocking chair and facing the thick jungle from behind my net, I was connecting to one of the medicine trees that I was dieting. One tree bark was collected from a beautiful tree that I used to kiss every time I passed by. This tree is known as the Queen of the jungle. </p><p>That morning, I was wondering what she had to share with me beyond the stories I was told.</p><p>As the vision came through and I heard her say: “Give me your hand and I will show you the way”, I broke in tears and I felt like I shrunk all the way back to the little girl, in me. </p><p>For the first time, I felt safe in the embrace of a tree spirit. It was not only seen but very much felt. I looked around and as she held me, the darkness of the jungle did not matter anymore. I allowed myself to be taken by her presence and I knew that she was showing me how to feel safe while walking in the dark, the unknown. </p><p>My heart was pounding, not from fear but from the amount of love I felt from her. </p><p>I say her because this is the presence I perceived and felt. A motherly, caring, loving and wholesome queen who, with her light, is bringing the little girl back home to me.</p><p>To this day, I cherish this moment in time where many years ago, I knew how plants, trees and mycelium have reshaped my whole being to be in love with life and human beings.</p><p>Plant Medicine destroyed me. Bit by bit, piece by piece, it shattered my whole being to fragments, every construct that rigidly sculpted my Self in this life and many others. It tossed me in the wilderness of insanity over and over again. The insanity of fear that we, human beings, have created for thousands of years and the world of Spirit has reflected back to us only to show us what we are creating every single moment. </p><p>Until everything we ask for is truth and love, our inner world will change the world around us. </p><p>Until we learn what nature is teaching us, plant medicine will only be a tool that we use and abuse. </p><p>The ones who listen will hear the music, dance to it and be seen as insane by the living and in love by Spirit. </p><p>For the wellbeing of all. </p><p>In Love and Medicine</p><p><b>Maya Abou Chedid</b></p> </div>

<p>Tis the season to be jolly!</p>
<p>The preparations have begun to welcome the Christ, The One in all, the sacred feminine and masculine, the Buddha, the Beloved. The birth of the long-awaited chosen One is happening soon for yet again another first time. <br>A time where we are starting to see the return of Christ and witnessing a real birth in all of us. The Seed of Life, the Flower of life and the Tree of life. </p>
<p>The decorations are bringing a new flair of colors and the lights are seen in the darkness while so many beings are in the depth of winter before winter begins. <br>In the midst of what feels like an ice age, rituals continue with more intention and understanding. Somehow, it feels like there is a realization that finally death is so close that we choose not to live in fear of death but rather with an ongoing reminder that it is always so near, so close to us and every moment we live is precious, until it’s gone. <br>We are just starting to live as human beings. <br>Even if at the surface, what looks like separation, conflicts and new beliefs of individuality are surging with force, it is only clearing out. It is a transition, like everything in life. <br>There is always so much more going on behind the scenes and, many are already celebrating the shoots of the new earth. A place that truly feels and is treated like home. I am seeing more of Lemuria, a place I heard about one day and it resonated deeply with me. A place that existed, long time ago where everyone was living in balance and harmony with nature and all that exists. <br>This might sound too farfetched and this dimension is hard to be seen but it is not at all hard to be felt and dreamt of, every single day until, one day, one moment, it is right here, accessible for all who can see it and are ready to live it.</p>
<p>As the intent has and is being set to be more open, receptive, responsible, forgiving, embodying truth, joy and creating from that space, the impossible becomes possible. <br>We are only remembering the birth of Christ is one in all of us now. The return to the divine in all. <br>Nature is our guide. All the Saints and Wise ones spoke of that truth and they found God in nature.</p>

<p>After more than a year of being hosted on Ouroboros Story Hour with Bob, we meet again to talk about how stories bring us together and how storytelling helped Bob find his calling to mediate in-person and online spaces for other people to share their stories and experiences with plant medicines and entheogens. <br><br><b>Bob Cohen</b> is the boy who lived. He was (re)conceived in 2013 after surviving atherosclerosis and a financial disaster and (re)born in 2015, following a high dose psilocybin journey. Since then, he has devoted his energy to family and to excavating and studying the unconscious mind (his and the collective unconscious) and the role languages play in shaping it. <br>Bob teaches writing at several colleges in Boston, produces and hosts a livestream and digital story platform called <b>Ouroboros Story Hour: True Tales of Healing and Altered States</b>, and he writes poetry and fiction. Bob is currently looking for a publisher for several collections of poetry: Whisky, Cool Jazz, and Ayahuasca: Excursions into Flow State, This is a Journey on the rOde to Joy, Suadade, and Artifacts of Improv.<br><span style="font-size: 16.875px; letter-spacing: 0.015em;"><br>Storytelling has been an essential part of our life as humans. <p>This is the truth, so they say.</p>
<p>It caught me in more than a way.</p>
<p>I opened up to other sways.</p>
<p>Thinking, seeking what came my way.</p>
<p>Not knowing, probably behaving, </p>
<p>For that was another story of “having”. </p>
<p>Collecting stories from Sages; following,</p>
<p>Yet my core never related, hence resisting.</p>
<p></p>
<p>I struggled with what I always desired. </p>
<p>A rebel, so-called, was like someone I hired. </p>
<p>To have a feel of not belonging gave me shelter, </p>
<p>From living, sharing, exploring life and even better. </p>
<p></p>
<p>Then one day, one moment, one eternity,</p>
<p>I stood up, with a loving weak body,</p>
<p>Speaking from my heart:</p>
<p>I don’t know!</p>
<p>I trust… I feel…</p>
<p>I don’t know for I already do, for real.</p>
<p>And so, I shed, I surrender my all, I heal.</p>
<p>From thinking, from knowing, from unreal.</p>
<p>I am here. I am now. I express</p>
<p>Allah, I call…</p>
<p>Light, Love, Medicine, in every breath. </p>
