<p>The plant teacher and you. Granted, two worlds that are energetically connected as parts in this web of life. Yet, the physical ingestion of a well-intended preparation of a concoction made from one or more plants is where worlds meet and collide.</p><p>The many insinuating spirit <em>(energetic)</em> realms of the plant(s) meeting with the many complexities of the modern human psyche to show everything that one can imagine including the shadow parts and the light of healing, the ugly and the beautiful, the infinite depths of the underworlds, middle worlds, upperworlds and other worlds. All of it without any exception. All the way to experiencing the fabric of the universe and meeting God, the divine infinite light of existence. </p><p>Nothing in this fusion is hidden, especially to You. Nature does not hide things like we do. It does not hold onto things. It transforms things even if it will take hundreds or thousands of years to reshape anything with an ongoing tendency to go into a balanced state again. There is an ongoing deconstruction and reconstruction, a fading away of a specie and a rebirth of another. It is all in nature. It has always been and we have been learning from nature and mimicking nature through our evolution with it and in some tiny parts of our brains, we thought that we can control it. </p><p>The plant teachers show us what we are ready to see even if it is boredom, annoyance, expectation and frustration, grief and pain. Going through those layers of resistance, control, fear and doubt opens doorways for us to see much more than we thought and this usually includes what we thought we are not.</p><p>There’s an exquisite indulgence in the ways of perception that we can discover on the journey with plant teachers, inside and more so outside ceremony. An experience of direct revelation where what is happening in the moment is the actual expression of that moment. Nothing more, nothing less. Being in the moment for this moment is all we have.</p><p>I always asked myself where does pain come from? This amount of pain that felt never-ending on many personal experiences in ceremony. The pain in the world that I felt over and over in my inner world. How much of it is there and how much work we need to do individually to alleviate the pain within and around us? How much did I hold inside me and did not know what to do about it?</p><p>Nature detects our pain and maybe this is one of the main reasons why plant medicine is becoming more and more available all over the world. Nature responds to what we need. This brings up yet another question here: How are we approaching and doing our part in acknowledging this response to the call for help? </p><p>Plants communicate through light and sound. The narrative that is added is a mere infinitesimal distraction of the magnitude of wisdom in the world of plants, fungi and nature altogether. The conscious part is usually challenged because of this new encounter. It does not know what to do based on what it knew before such an experience. It only knows enough of the ways the plant “should” be working based on what was heard and read and beyond this is exactly where the magick happens; When your world meets with the world of a plant teacher, in spirit or in body, your Spirit is touched and, in that moment, you are changed. It takes a while afterwards to catch up. </p><p>Opening your senses to tap into the unseen realms is the adventure and the guidance from the ones who have laid a map and who can walk alongside you can be quite a lighthouse as you decide to engage with the spirit and the body of a plant teacher.</p><p>The experience is coded for you and only you to read and understand. The map is only to enter and come back. The construct of the “You” merges with an infinite underlying wisdom which will only remind you of who you are beyond constructs and beyond definitions. <br />It is all in the experience itself, your own. </p><p>The rest is simple. Plants are simple in showing us things especially with what is happening in our inner worlds. Our own interpretation of that simplicity is filtered through a complex way of seeing things, for many reasons, in order to get to a certain revelation or a so-called Aha! moment. The inside world is reflected in the outside world and while the cleansing and clearing are happening, it can be chaotic, loud and many times uncomfortable, until you get tired from hanging on to the old and you experience a breakthrough of one layer and then the next and many others. <br />The adventure is ongoing and the revelations become clearer as we empty self from beliefs and acquired behaviors and patterns that are not essentially who we are. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Spirit takes form in our mother’s womb and we swim our way from this warm ocean to the shores of an earth-based reality, we are raw and our senses are widely open to receiving and absorbing everything that the world around us is emitting our way.</p>
<p>The sounds and the vibrations of words we feel, the colors we gradually adapt to seeing, the shapes and forms, smells and tastes we smile or cry to, the actions and behaviors we watch over and over again are painted on our blank canvas.</p>
<p>We come here naked and get wrapped by different kinds of clothing that life offers.</p>
<p>Our organs and systems are turned on in a whole different way. We do not know what is going on and we need the care and embrace of the family we chose to drop into.<br />Their ways of being, thinking and doing incrementally become ours and as the circle expands, we develop a way of living as we are shown and told.</p>
<p>How to dress?<br />How to talk?<br />How to behave?<br />How to express and suppress?<br />How to act?<br />How to eat?<br />How to attract and reject?<br />How to hide and seek? </p>
<p>We get programmed to a preset normalcy that slowly moves us away from a natural way of being.</p>
<p>In order to belong, we get fed with ways how to separate things, people, God and ourselves from everyone else.</p>
<p>We learn how to fight or keep silent to belong, how to do what is right according to teachers while watching them doing wrong to others and so wrong becomes normal.</p>
<p>We start excusing behaviors and removing ourselves from any kind of responsibility because someone else was always responsible for us.</p>
<p>The baby grows to keep feeding on a virtually safe and unnatural system.<br />We learn to close our eyes and turn our heads from the reality that we are seeing right in front of us. </p>
<p>Reality becomes skewed.</p>
<p>We entertain within many contexts, only to be accepted and seen. Only to be loved.</p>
<p>Love becomes skewed.</p>
<p>Life becomes painful and our default mode of running away tangles our body and strangles our soul until something cracks us open and we are not able to take this reality any further.</p>
<p>The comfort we used to live in breaks and we start falling while watching the threads attaching us to the previous reality as we knew it fading.</p>
<p>A sense of going crazy arises, over and over again only to offer us the recurring inability to do anything about it.</p>
<p>Doing becomes archaic. We freeze from the fear that embedded our whole existence.<br />The fear that tangled us to everything, everyone and life itself.</p>
<p>What is ours and what is not ours?<br />A whole journey begins.<br />Untangling the threads connecting layers within to learn about them and through them, explore the potential to establish new threads that are coherent with the web of life and nature itself.</p>
<p>What was held deep down implodes an unlimited force of change and gives us the impetus to transfigure and transform.</p>
<p>A real-birth that once was experienced from the womb to the cloth that held us, for earth to welcomes us again, raw and naked yet fully cradled.</p>
<p>Freedom starts with allowing yourself to be fully who you are.<br />Freedom is alchemizing every single structure within to shift it to a state of being that encompasses the old conditions, restrictions and fears.</p>
<p>A state of ongoing death and birth.<br />A state of feeling it all.<br />A state of love.<br />And love becomes life<br />And life becomes love.<br />Every step of the way…</p>
